is a poet, editor, and writing instructor based in New York City. By day, she works in medical communications, editing online publications aimed at serving health care professionals. Britt earned her MFA in Creative Writing from The New School and her BA from Drew University. Her poetry has been featured in print in Armchair/Shotgun and online at anderbo, The Boiler, decomP, Vox Poetica, and Springgun Press, among others. She teaches Creative Writing 101 and Poetry Writing I and II at Gotham Writers Workshop in New York City.
Her poem, βIn Bloom,β was recently featured as part of the #NoLimitsOnLove campaign with 1-800-Flowers and GLAAD.
Britt was born and raised in New Jersey, and has lived in Philadelphia, Jersey City, and New York City. She is also a long-distance runner and has raced in the NYC Marathon twice, several half-marathons, and countless 5Ks.
